WHAT KIND OF
CARNEVAL IS THIS?

On Sunday, September 17, 2023, the Bicycle Carnival will roll again through Stockholm City. Come join us for bicycle-related events, music and cycling know-how on a car-free Östermalmstorg starting at 10:00. 

This is a free event and everyone is welcome.

At 14:00 we will assemble the "bicycle train" and make our way through central Stockholm enjoying priority passage over traffic. It will offer us a taste of what a truly bike-friendly Stockholm could feel like—one that is smarter and more sustainable with all of the potential benefits to the community on health, pollution, economics, traffic and equality.

All forms of human-powered transport, e-bikes, cargo bikes, bike-trailers and other fossil-free transport modes—the way of the future—are encouraged to join our "bicycle train." If you like, dress in your favourite carnival attire!

Come one come all, young and old. Our aim is especially, to inspire joy and appreciation of the freedom and independence that this environmentally-friendly transport offers children.
